Hey Gang, new member here. My names Jerry I'm a member of a few more performance related forums, Auto and Motorcycle/ATV related. I just acquired a really nice 06 Chevy SWB with a few performance enhancements on it. I haven't received the list of all that"s in/on it yet but I can tell you it has a 5.3 with a lopey cam, long tube ceramic coated headers, Magnaflow exhaust,Performance built 3.73 posi rear end with a Magnuson Intercooled supercharger. Its also lowered 3 inches with Texas 20's on it. Not long after getting it the 2nd and 4th gear band is now slipping and I am researching a performance kit for the transmission and I am looking for advise on what to get, I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions what kit to buy and what all I need, BTW I will be replacing the 3500 stall to a more street friendly 2500 unit.

Welcome!!!

If I were you, don't waste your money on trying to fix the ailing trans. Get you a built one and swap it out.

Swapping the converter is a good idea. A 3500 is to loose for a PD blower. It'll work, sure but you're leaving low end torque on the table.
