Been checking out this site for a few weeks and decided it was time to jump in. I don't know many gear heads in the area as I've only lived out here for about 5 or 6 years and I'm still learning about building up a truck as my focus has always been in muscle cars 'till I got my baby. I'm sure it gets posted a bunch but any info on 2/4" and 4/6" drops and what size wheels/tires will and will not work would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the site!

We've picked up quite a few Okies this year. Amazing how many.
A co worker of mine lives in moore and I work up in the village. Might be going to Paradise City on the 17th to check out the drunk chicks.

What would it take to get an Oklahoma thread going? That's part of the reason I joined when I kept seeing all the Okies, lol. Midnightrider...is he the one with the all black twin turbo extended cab on black chrome rims? I keep seeing his truck on the web and can't stop thinking of how bad *** it is, it's even my wallpaper on my PC, lol.

This is what I have so far.....

First mod was 15% window tint.

..then I went LED crazy, lol. Only bulbs I haven't changed yet are the one's in the door panels.

And I also put in some smoked red LED taillights.

I'm going to search the junkyards soon and try to find some painted mirror caps off a SUV model, I think the chrome just stands out to much.

I want to get some GMC 20's to keep the cost down but they will turn into the winter rims someday when I get 20 or 22" black chrome rims.

Its the pistons that apply the amount of pressure between shifts. 1-2 and 2-3 are the ones that the Vette servo help out. Basically what it does is cleans up the soft (slipping) shift of the 4l60 giving you a firmer shift.

It is the number one mod to do as far as best bang for your buck. 15-20 bucks off ebay.

Here is a little more info on install and what it looks like:

Nice truck butler! Unless you need them which by the sound of the direction your trying to go you don't need them but get rid of the mud-flaps, Hood visor and window ones too as well as your door moldings and your truck will look completely different, and they are FREEE MODS!!
