Hi- I've been using this forum to research changes to my 99 GMC Stepside Reg Cab 4x4. I've made some exterior mods SS mirrors, 20" Weld Racing Vel 6 wheels, 285/50/20 tires, Retrax bed cover, Magnaflow dual exhaust, and fender flares. Engine- have a 5.3l with a Radix Intercooled Magnacharger and elec. fans. I have but not installed 2/4 drop kit, MSD coils and wires. I'm looking at LS6 cam swap, but a little confused as to what to purchase (cam, springs, pushrods, etc) for this model of truck with a blower. I've also, been trying to figure out what axle rear axle ratio I have and auto. transmission model. GM service manual spells out where numbers are supposed to be, but no where to be found.

As you can see I'm definitely a newby, but love to get my hands dirty!

I really appreciate this website, it has saved me some money and sweat.
