ugh, the turmoil of deciding... I have the 2" drop shackles on the way for now... every time I haul the dirtbikes I think about how much it would suck if my truck were lowered... I just can't decide. It'd be great for loading the bikes but not for getting to the areas I ride at. Maybe I should lift this one and get a cheaper older 2wd to lower and mess with.

how do you like your 35" dune grapplers on your 3" b/l? If I go up then I was thinking about the terra grapplers since they are a little more aggressive looking imo but not sure yet.

nice truck, thanks for the pics. how did you level out the front? I've heard keys work for a while but begin to sag within a year sometimes.

Thanks.
I replaced my keys with some that I got from a local shop, the only thing that I have had go wrong is I just had to replace my inner and outer tie rods. I also have to replace my idler and pit man arms, but knowing that going forward with the lifting. I have heard good things about a company called cognitomotorsports.com so when I get the money up for that I am going to put that stuff on my truck. Also I had to replace my upper control arm, the bushing was going bad and it was cheaper to replace the whole A arm, but that same company make a upper control arm that will make the truck ride like stock, that is what I have been told.

Sorry for the long rant... But lift that thing and make it fast!

I should of mentioned that the owner before me had a 5th wheel in it, yes a 1500 with a 5th wheel... As soon as I got it I had to replace the idler and pit man arms.

Welcome aboard from Texas.

Clean truck.

I think lowered trucks are great, but in this case I agree with the lift; do that and get some power under it, and I'd say it's good to go IMO.

I must ask... what makes my truck the exception? What is it about my truck that makes most people say to lift even if they have a 4wd lowered truck? Intrigues me...

I even have 22" wheels and I still get that... Im not getting rid of those either way! Unless if I went bigger... I just like big wheels... I had 24s before these and thought a 2/4 drop would have been perfect.

I think it would look sweet with a little drop, maybe a 3/6. Sweet truck though
