I was stationed in Keflavik for a year. The place is absolutely beautiful but windy as hell. Welcome the states.

When Greenland(then called Iceland) where found,the discoverer whent home told people about it,they sailed(with no GPS ) towards it and found Iceland(that was green) instead of Greenland(that was coverd in Ice).......................

Yes that helps but the real reason it is because the Golf Stream goes to us from Mexican Bay with the hot air and such

Otherwise i would be living in a snow house or close to it

Welcome to the site! You need to get yourself a truck now! Been there and the place is beautiful, and the people friendly and they know how to use their natural resources, I think 90% of the country uses thermal spring water for heating.

Could bee in few years that we will have Hyrdo Cars on the streets,there are 2 Buses and a few electric cars here now and been for a while,so it could get expensive to own a V8
