New here '06 Chevy

Hello, I've been a member of LS1Tech for a while (I guess the areas I post in don't count though lol), also a member of a bunch of other car/truck forums because of my Malibu. I had a '94 ecsb that was 3/4'd and mildly customized (i.e. primer where the fatory white peeled off) that had 260k on it, kids are both teens now and them crawling in and out of the back was getting on my nerves so I went looking for a NBS crew. I picked my new baby up Jan 12th and am doing the little odds and ends I can until it gets warm again
I've done a few things to the '06 Silverado in the 2 months I've owned it lol. I removed the tool box, pulled the "LT" emblems off the cab, the "Silverado" on the tailgate is gone, colormatched the front bowtie, added the OEM foglight kit, installed 2" drop shackles to bring the rear down to almost level, had the front side windows tinted, added a XM direct kit, turned the white letters in, and my son and I installed some colormatched Escalade outside door handles and removed the side moldings.
Eventually it'll have a new set of wheels....but for now the stock 17" are fine
I want to do something with the mirrors but am not sure what yet. I'm thinking about smoothing and painting the mirrors white and adding a chrome cap....?
here's a before I touched it

here's one from today after the handles, moldings and a bath

Welcome. Joined myself last night. Been lurking for a long time. Truck looks great. Night and day on the tires. When I bought my 04 Silvy, 1 of my conditions to salesman, was flip white walls to the inside. After it was done, he said, "Wow! Does that look better that way". You're in great hands on PT.net
