Hey everyone,

My name is Andrew. I've been a member on the site for over a year now, just gaining knowledge and drooling over all the sick trucks on here. I've been looking for a good project RCSB truck for awhile now and just couldn't come across anything that didn't cost an arm and a leg. Between my fiance and I, we have 5 kids so money is a little tight when it comes to Dad's toys.

My friend owns a used car lot and came across a guy needing to get rid of a 2000 RCSB Silverado, 4.8, 2wd. He took it in and called me immediately. Upon initial inspection, it seems like its going to be a good starting point for me. A little rust here and there on the bed and the rockers are shot but not hateful, especially for the price.

Plan is to keep the SBE 4.8 in there for now with the usual mods for boost, TH400 swap, s475, suspension mods, and 29x11.5 Hoosier QTPs.

No real goals for the truck as of right now. I just want to have fun with it at the track and occasional "mexico" trips. Eventually i'll move to a 370" engine, built rear, etc. I should be starting to order parts soon so I'll make a build thread shortly.
