wats up guy .ill start by sayin i dont have a truck but my bestfriend does its a 2004 chevy 1500 5.3 . we have big plans for the truck he likes drivin ad all but doesnt know much about cars know im no mechanic but i do think i knw alot about cars for a 19 yr old with no one to teach me i love these sites and ive definetly learned alot about cars from these may not be the best way but its a way lol. the truck is bone stock with 40000 on it he waqnts alot of low rpm power but right now we dont have the tools or place to go into the block or idd say well lets bore it a bit and stroke it for that but i was wonderin if anyone could help us out ill take all advice cause im sure u guys now more than me thanks for the help.

Welcome aboard.

You can start with some simple bolt-ons; intake, headers, exhaust, tune, chip, etc. That'll get him rolling fast; no pun intended. Sounds like you'll be running on a budget, so plan what will be done and how much it will cost. Have you all done anything to it yet?

And I'll go ahead and say it, if you can, get some pics of the truck up.

thanks man thats the kinda stuff i was thinkin weve decided to start with the exhaust were lookin at the dyna tech super mac its got lts and hi flow cats then goes into a y pipe i think that and a good cat back will do nicely since its a 5.3 and gonna be n/a i fugured he dont rly need full duels and thanksfor eveyone who welcomed me

bad news some duech bag side swipped his truck in the college parkin lots he wants to get all that fixed before anything fortunetly the scratches can be blended and his karate instructer or somethin can do that but he still needs new side molding and he aint goin to the dealer for that ud think whoever did could left a note or something wow some people r ridiculous
