Hello all first time here, I am from New Mexico, I am 68 years young, I am Retired, so have loads of time to work on my 64 panel, I have a question, I have a 64 chevy C 30 1 ton panel, I need the amount that the differential holds, in lube, need to do the seals and check on bearings, thought i would do the fluid also, I do not have the amount that it holds.

Finally someone in my age group... welcome to the forum. Cant help you with the gear oil volume but start with 3 quarts and fill until it starts coming out the fill hole. My 8.6 rear holds around 2.5 quarts if I remember correctly. I do remember buying three quarts (you shouldn't need the friction modifier)
