Actually just now starting to run my truck. The PB in my sig was at San Antonio raceway at Ls1truck raceday. Monroe isnt running on friday for test and tune. Is Greenville still doing test and tune on fridays? I got my slicks in today So I am planning on getting them mounted and running it asap

 

They run on Saturday evenings now. Will go back to saturday nights this summer. Pm me when you are going over to run and I'll come hang out with you. Lot of good people and decent cars/trucks in the Greenville area.

I heard there are alot of fast rides over there. I keep hearing to becareful at that track on the end of the track someone took out the gaurdrail or something and him losing it has people over here tripped out. I work this weekend. I hope to see how much better the slicks turn out next weekend. But it is prob going to be in monroe though....

Alot of FAST street cars 9 and 10 seconds. Not very mini newer trucks though. One from around cleveland like 02 or 03 with 6.0,cam,headers,conv,etc runs in the elevens and couple fast dodge diesel trucks one I know runs 11.60's. Be sure to pm me if you ever decide to go to greenville and I'll be sure to go over. In fact if I get my 4.10's in this week I may ride to monroe since I've never ran the 1/4 in this truck.

I thought greenville was a 1/4 mile track. Ill shoot you a pm. When I go this weekend. On of my buds with a TBSS I hope will be able to make it as well. Him is up in the air though. Only way I may not make it is my pops is have heart surgery monday SUPER early in the morning. So If I cant get there EARLY sunday I prob cant run till the week after.
Pops comes before racing ya know.

 

I here you. Family is definitely first. I hope he is gonna be o.k. Greenville is a 1/4 mile track but the big end is a little rough when you're trying to slow down some of the faster cars. They have cut it back to 1/8 mile the end of last year and have been saving money to repave the other end of the track. My last mustang,I know what you're thinking LOL, trapped in the mid 130 mph and it was a little scary getting her slowed down on the good pavement. Talk at ya later.

If you were thinking that i was thinking that a chevy truck owner drives a mustang must be something like in his own head. Yes I was thinking that.
Dont worry I wont hold it against you. I am just a fan of fast haha. Imma try to get my truck down to 11s or maybe high 10s and still be a "street truck" and after I get that done Imma find me a Old car to make a 8 haha. I still got a daily before I do either of those. Once I find out whats going down with the pops Ill let ya know.
