thanks guys i'm ready to start moding on the V-MAX so far i've put a front end leveling kit on with a set of 305/65/17 BFG KM2's and blacked out the windows. i want to put a predator programer on it with a K&N intake some of my friends say it's easy to wake up these trucks, i don't know anything about a chevy this is my first one.

welcome aboard Josh.
ive heard everyone on here say stay away from the handheld tuner and to just get a mail order tune from one of our sponsors over there -------->
also Josh not sure if you plan on wheelin the truck at all or not by the sound of your wheel and tire package but you may wanna think about getting an enclosed CAI (cold air intake) like so... not sure if K&N makes any other than with just the shield

beastmode, there will be no wheelin for this truck the only dirt that will get on it will be from the dirt road i live on. but like you said to be on the safe side a enclosed CAI don't sound bad.
