Hi, I'm Adam. I'm 6'4" and 250 if you were wondering about my username. Well, I've had my 02 RCSB for a little over a year now. 5.3L, 4L60E, 4x4, Z71. I bought it with a rough country 4" lift on the front and they had removed the Z71 factory blocks in the rear with 315/75/16's. Needless to say it looked awful, but this isn't a rake VS lean thread. But the price was right so I took it home.

It hated pulling my horse trailer with its silly lean.

I wanted to find 5" lift springs for the back but had a hard time convincing most mainstream lift companies to sell part of a lift kit and not the whole thing. So it got 5" blocks. I hate the idea of using blocks but they've got about 10,000 miles on them now with no issues so I guess I cant argue.
This is what it looked like after the blocks. And the wife. She's still in, I was medically retired this past January after a bunch of knee surgeries.

And this was yesterday morning before I stepped down in tire size

I decided it was cheaper and easier to move down to 285/75/16's than it would be to regear the damn thing. It just didn't have the power I needed to pull the trailer around all loaded down. So, yesterday I picked up brand new Toyo AT II ten ply's for $920 installed and the difference is amazing. They look a little silly to me, not bad but I guess just because I'm so accustomed to the 315's.

I ordered firestone bags for it on Friday along with a trailer brake controller and a huge transmission cooler. It should show up today and will give me a fun little saturday project.
All that being said, I'm actually not a truck guy. I love this little thing but I'm a VW geek. My real project car is a 1987 VW Jetta Pirelli edition Coupe. There are only a few Pirelli Coupes in the US and I love mine.
