Default new to the forum

Just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Kenny and I recently purchased a 2011 Silverado with the 5.3. I've already taken the factory muffler off and replaced it with a Flowmaster 40 series. My next plan is getting some now wheels, but I'm also interested in some performance gains. The only problem is I'm not familiar with what is the best performance parts out there. Hopefully I can get some advice from members on here.

Welcome to the site Kenny.

With your interest in performance parts to add to your new truck, how concerned are you going outside of warranty coverage?

I'm not too concerned about breaking my warranty. Pretty much every car or truck I have owned i have voided my warranty.

Ok.. the site has a GM Classified section for parts. Also keep an eye on the posts for Flex Fuel vehicles, just an FYI if you have one.

After you do your bolt ons, consider a tune. There are sponsors to the right of the site screen for tuning.

PS.. We can help you spend your money.

Well since you guys can help me spend my money, what are some of the best mods to do? I know the obvious would be a cold air intake, but what would be the next bolt on item that would actually help me performance wise?

A nice set of long tube headers will be a good next step, also a custom tune from one of the sponsors will make a huge difference as well. After that, your imagination and depth of your wallet are the only limit.
