So, I have been on the forum for a while now and thought I should introduce myself and create an account. I live in Jacksonville, FL I have a 2008 5.3L Silverado crew cab I have done a little work to it but I haven't taken it down the track yet, I plan on doing that this Friday but we will see if my plans stay the same and the wife doesn't have anything that comes up to change them. So the mods I have done so far include a 220 .588 112 LSA custom grind comp cam DOD delete with LS7 lifters, high volume oil pump, cai, LT headers no cats and a 10 series muffler, dyno tuned putting 330rwhp and 340rwtq. future plans are to either pick up a set of heads or just port the stock ones and change out the intake manifold. with a end goal to get 400 to the rear. if you guys have any tips for me I am open to any suggestions.

Gears/stall converter and that thing should pretty fun to drive.

And light rims/tires for drag racing.

 

i have 3.73 gears, I know I need to change the converter I was thinking about a 2500. what would you guys recommend?
