Default New Dude From MS...

whats up everyone, new to the forum around the Leake County MS area... well kinda, i apparently made 1 post a long time ago and forgot... anyway, i'm in the process of building a 1997 F-150... it was my first vehicle... i'm currently putting a Lightning motor in it... in the process of building a shortblock... shortblock consist of a 02 Harley forged crank, manley H-beam rods, and forged dish pistons... with a stock 2V head it will be 9.0:1... putting an eaton supercharger (maybe KB if i can find one at the right price, when i get ready to buy) and changing to a 4R100 trans from a 4R70W... here's some pics...

welcome to the site.. I have a good friend with a 97 ext cab with a 5.4 with basic bolt one and it runs pretty good for what it is, I've been trying to talk him into doing a lightning s/c pull off kit.. it looks like you're off to a good start so far.

yo fool, glad to have you! There are a ton of knowlegable guys here to help, but I think you already go your problem figured out...... its that blue circle on the front grille!

thanks man! yeah, i'd tell him to do it for sure! well, as long as its a PI motor in his truck... not sure if a lower intake will bolt up on a non PI motor... if you swap the heads from a non PI to a PI it will raise the compression a good bit...

haha! what up dood! that blue circle coming for that red truck fo sho!! but i don't have a race truck... excuse #1... lol!

its like the bandit, got a long way to go and a short time to get there

as you said, its coming for the red truck, all it will ever do is chase it hahahahahahahahahahhahahahahaha I kid

lol yea Ive learned enough about mod motors to stay out of trouble.. I came about 2 inches from buying a 98gt a few months back

and not trying to thread jack but that truck in lownslo's sig looks very familiar.. think I met you one night up in Starkville

prolly so, I went to school there, but I had a black crew cab, when did we meet? I have only been up since I had this truck maybe 2 times to feed my deweys addicition haha!
