Kind of new here been reading this forum for quite some time now, decided to finally regester. My truck is a 2000 GMC grey RCSB 4.8 5 speed. I bought it a year ago and thought i looked it over pretty good but when i got home one of my friends noticed this small "police interceptor" badge on the lower driverside part of the tailgate sence then i have been wondering what it meant. Just seing if any body knew any details on it. Seems like any other truck to me.

 

never heard of the police using scsb 4.8 standards before does it go past 100? what does the suspension look like? what size alternator? most likely its just your run o the mill 4.8 cheby.

might be just a badge off a crown vic that prev. owner put on there cuz it is grey or somethin

no it doesnt go past 100. Never thought to check the size of the alternator and the suspension looks pretty normal. thanks for the warm welcome.

 

that is the exact badge. thanks, i guess the previous owner just bought one and stuck it on there
