Default Need help/ advice hypertech, corvet servo 2006

Hello everyone. Need some help I currently have 06 silverado 4.8 aem brute force intake, jba shorty headers, flow master, and corvette servo. My friend gave me his hypertech and I tuned it for 87 octane for now and after market tires, 25% shiftfiness. My question is will messing with the firmness be bad for my transmission since I already have the corvette servo? I didn't really mess with anything else since I don't know what really to do. I.e. Shift points and all that. Thank you for your help

don't get too aggressive with the trans tuning. keeping the 60e cool is the biggest thing. look up tru cool 40k

also look at the site sponsors for a custom tune or a local tuner

welcome to the site! this hobby is expensive

Ok I will look into that. so leaving the firmness at 25% with servo is ok?

Saving up cash for the black bear tune!!

Thank you! Tell me about it

Welcome! I have been reading some people say 50% is fine and others say 100% is okay, personally I wouldn't take it above 50%

For the rev limiter, if you are able to choose I would have 1-2 shift at 6000 you can go to 6200, but I would NOT go any higher than that with the stock cam and weak valve springs, plus the power starts to fall on its face around 6000 rpms

I had a superchip programer many years ago before I knew anything and didn't notice hardly any difference between 87 tune and performance tune.
