My Yukon was carjacked

My Yukon that was so much fun is officially gone...

As you may have heard it was carjacked Sunday evening 11/22/09 at 5:45pm near 3rd St.@Attayac St. in Austin, Tx. The suspect armed with a 9MM jumped out of a black suburban and demanded the keys from my wife just as she exited our Yukon after arriving at a relatives house.

Here's the aftermath.

As of 11/23/09 only six sets of these Vellano VSK 26x10 inch chrome wheels with the 6x139.7 bolt pattern have ever been built and all sets may not be in the United States. Regardless of location, as of yesterday this was one of six sets in the entire world. If you see a set of these wheels for sale they may be the one's stolen from my Yukon so please call 911 and refer to the Austin, Tx. Police Department case number 09-3261708.
Here are some closeups of the wheels:

What pieces of shit, I can't believe that man. I'm sorry about your truck, but the important thing is your wife is ok.

Crap that sucks, those wheels will stand out like a sore thumb! Good luck catching him, glad no one was hurt especially at gun point.

JAVI05 11-24-2009 09:27 AM

WHAT A WASTE OF A GREAT TRUCK..!!! x2 on family being ok..

TXsilverado 11-24-2009 09:45 AM

you send your wife out in a truck with 26" wheels. i know it sucks that we have to go out with the mentality like that, but sending her out with 26" wheels is just asking for trouble.

sucks to see your truck like that.

trever1t 11-24-2009 09:52 AM

Why is the victim at fault? Sorry I don't follow you there?

WoW, I am glad to hear your wife wasn't hurt in the process.

OMG my gauge would be riding shotgun if i was rolling around shining like that... another reason i like the sleeper look.... praise God your family is safe.

Dude, seriously... Why would you say that to someone who's wife had a gun pulled on her?
Glad she didn't get hurt. My neighbour's son in law was murdered over his wife's purse in Honduras over the summer. Assholes are out there. Good to see you on the site.

damn dude its truely saddening to see this, and yet another reason why I love the old west where you were armed and could shoot someone for touching your stuff...

Just be glad dude, possesions being gone is far easier to deal with than family being gone

get off of your high horse. from the original post, he seems to be over the whole having a gun pulled on his wife, and is more interested in finding his rare wheels...had his wife been shot, i never would have said it.

with that being said, around houston, people are shot every day for their fucking wheels. a pro football player was shot not long ago for his damn cadillac. when my neighbor gave his wife his expidition, the first thing he did was pull off the 22's and put some stockers on, to give the thugs one less reason to look her way. it sucks that we have to worry about things like this, and the victim is definately not guilty. i just know im not sending my wife into town with a 5,000 dollar bill hanging out of her back pocket. just asking for shit to happen.
