Mikeskiw from CA is here

Hi folks,
I am Mike aka Mikeski (waterskier). I am active on a few boating/wakeboarding forums but I decided to join as I need some advice for the rebuild of my truck.
I previously did car stereo installation work and do some big boat systems. As an electrical engineer I help guys out with charing and battery systems when help is needed. Getting a big stereo in a boat is only half the battle, feeding it with power is the other half, both battles consume large amounts of cash. If you have any questions about powering large audio systems I may be able to help.
My tow vehicle is an E-Force supercharged 2007 Chevy Avalanche. After 145k miles the factory mill is smoking and has likely digested part of itself so it needs to be replaced. I will start a new thread, hopefully in the right place asking for advice from you guys.
Happy to be here,
Mike

Welcome! I think you'll like it around here, I know I do. I have learned a lot so far. Lots of good info to read (a ton actually) and lots of people to help you out with your build. Looking forward to seeing your build.
