lookin to put some truck in my old car
I own a 1998 gmc burb K2500 slt with a 7.4 vortec and have had a 1968 olds toranado for a long time and just picked up a prodject car.
I was in the shop last night and just so hapend to have the new toranado up on one lift to look it over and needed to service the burb so i put it up on the other lift and came up with the solution to a problem ive had. How to set up a 1968 toranado with all wheel drive.
So I intend to pick every bodys brain for information about the use of a 1997 k1500 burb front chasis section loaded with a ZZ572 backed with a auto trans and a full time awd transfer case like a NVG149 or BW4473 and I will figure out the rear later .
You can't even gues how close the two front ends and frame rails are and since the toranado has a much lower CG and used torsion bars up front I think it might even drive rite so it's time to start cuting.
