Hey guys whats goin on, Im Dustin, im not new to trucks but im new to pt.net, i've been around on Ls1tech for a little while now, right now I share a car with my dad (im 17) and im working on getting myself a truck. Im not positive on what a wanna get yet but right now its between either a Chevy Silverado (1998-2002), a GMC Sierra (2000-2004), a Ford F150 (1992-2004), or a Ford F250 (1992-1997). Anyone got any suggestions for me based on personal knowledge or experiences? Whichever one I end up getting Im gonna turn into a "Redneck" truck as my friends like to call it. Oversized tires, lift kit, push bar, lights kit, all that fun stuff. Thanks a lot for any input you guys have, I appreciate it.

haha seems like y'all er some GM fans, im a big fan of the 5.3 Silverado and the 5.4 F150's so its probably between those two, I've heard a lot of really good things about the silverado

 

I would take a 5.3 over a 5.4 anyday. JMO

 

yea right now im leanin towards like an '01 Silverado, i'd love to find one for sale with teh LS1 engine in it, that'd be sick

 

5.3l gmc/chevy what is this other option i didnt know there was one.
haha well i love my 5.3 and you will see there is alot that can be done on this platform. it seems almost everything is interchangeable in some way the options are limitless!
