I been on here awhile...but i finally have a project i want to start and no way to go about it...I have a 95 2dr tahoe with a tired 200k 5.7 in it...I want to do a 5.3 swap with no idea where and how to start...I can find a donor motor no prob but i need to know all the tricks to get it to work with my rig.

PLEASE
if any one has a parts list or know of a website i can go to to get this done let me know!
I have saved some money and would like to make this happen.....anyone help

Its my daily driver but i have an 85 toyota to drive while im doing the swap
i am a unitied states air force vet and this has been my dream rig since i was 16 years old

Crazy dingo or something like that makes the motor mounts
Nelson performance makes a harness
Have to get a new fly wheel or oval the holes u got. Efans makes it all easier hope that helps some

Id like to get a motor with a harness and make that work in my rig..but i will be running electric fans

 

i want a running 5.3 to just drop in..im not sure about accessories drive..cooling...fuel dealiveriy...spelling...or just how to go about getting started...i want to use as much of what i have as i can...on a very tight budget...my engine is burning oil and i want a bit more power....id like to use my tranny and transfercase...i can work on the drive shafts or build crossmembers but as far as the electronics..i am clueless!

 

later i want a lumpy cam and 350 ponys...but for now i just need to get her together and runnin
