How's it goin' ya'll?
Just picked up a 2000 Silverado z71, and managed to throw a rod through the side of the block
Now I'm here lookin for advice on how to build my next 5.3

Welcome. Most will tell you to just swap in a 6L and be done with it, there's really no good argument against it.

My only problem with the 6.0 is mileage. The LQ9 in my TA averaged 12 city 18 highway.
