Default Hey new from Dallas, Tx

Hey new to this forum page names freddy. I have a 2001 rcsb gmc sierra which i plan on boosting it. Im new to these ls engines since ive always owned ford f150s and mustangs. Lol. Im looking for at least 700hp from this 5.3 thru a 4l80 i already swapped in it.

You may want to scale back your HP goals with that year engine. Once you get past 550whp you are in the danger zone with those connecting rods.

That should still be around 650-700 crank hp though.

Sorry forgot to say im getting rods and pistons on the stock 5.3 bore. We'll see how it does.
