Hey from Delaware

I have been on ls1tech for a while but just recently found out about this site.I am getting ready to take my DD/towrig to the track to see what it will do on Friday but wanted to see if anyone here has a ideal of what it will run.The truck is a 1988 Chevy 1/2 ton 2wd.The truck is lowered 3 1/2 in the rear and 1 1/2 inches in the front.
The motor is a 350 out of a 1993 caprice cop car.I rebuilt it.Its bored 30 over and is basically a stock bottom end.The heads have a three angle valve job and had a clean up mill done to them. The valvetrain is the factory hydraulic roller setup. The motor only has 300 miles on it.I am going to run 93 octane gas and advance the timming about 14* for the track. It has a knN airfilter and a TBI power charger.
The exhaust is stock manifolds y'd into a single 2 1/2 inch pipe (no cat) to a super 40 series flowmaster dumped before the axle.
It has a 700R4 transmission with a BnM transpack on the street/strip setting.
The rearend is a 8.5 inch 10 bolt with an open diff a richmond 3.73 gears.
So does anyone here have an ideal of what it will do?Thanks

Welcome to the site! I'm a new guys as well, and this site is cool... I'd say high 14's, low 15's, but don't quote me on that...LOL
Nice Gen II RX7. I am a huge fan of the Rx7's... My dad was a Regoinal Manager for Mazda for about 15 years, and we had several Rx7's...a cherry first gen 85 GSL-SE, a second gen 91 GTU, and 2 third gen 95's--a Touring and R2. I love the look of those Turbo II's..but you did an LS1/T-56 swap? I bet that thing hauls ***!

No i pulled the rotory motor out two days after i bought the car and sold it.I never really drove the car yet under its own power yet. Heres a picture when i was test fitting the motor.Almost looks like mazda was thinking of putting a ls1 in there.

Hmmm, a shame... Those little rotors can really fly! I have seen a lot of people doing the LS1 swap in the FD and FC Rx7's. It's pretty popular swap. It would be cool to keep the hood and make the ram air functional. Any specific plans for your build?

The motor is getting TSP stage 2.5 5.3l heads,MS3 cam,Ls6 intake,Arp rod bolts, ARP main and head studs, ported ls6 oil pump,ls2 timing chain,ls7 lifters,TSP hardened pushrods,Harland sharp roller rockers, and a underdrive pulley.I will also use long tube headers with 1 7/8 inch primary tubes.I will be useing a spec stage 3 clutch with a fidanza 12.5 pound aluminium flywheel with a blowproff bellhousing.I am forgetting some things but that is the most of it.Should be fun when done.
Writing all that makes me want to not order headers for my truck and instead buy some parts for the car to get it done faster.
