you can get a 6.0L in the ext cabs and crew cabs.

and the 6.2L in the denali crew cabs. AWD and now 2WD also. which are still 1500's

I am confused as to what you are talking about. You have many different options on things you can do to any motor. You can even swap a 6.2 into your truck if it really bothers you enough. Like beastmode said it all depends on how deep you pocketbook is. I'm not trying to be a dick but you could probably clean up the grammar a little and I think people would be able to help you out a little better IMO. Just my 2cents

Welcome to the site. Don't fret about the size of your engine it's really what you do with it that matters. Couple guys on here are pushing 500-600rwhp on here. If you have a new truck just ride it out until the warranty expires which is 100,000 miles with you no? Thought I hear about their new warranties and stuff. In any case you can always upgrade to the LSX when you want to kick his ***. Hope you find what your looking for.

First off, welcome to the site!

Next, the 5.3 is a very strong engine. You can spend very little on that truck and make it faster than your buddies. When my SSS(6.0L) was stock I had a ECSB 5.3L truck run with me right at my driver's side door. He said all he had done was exhaust, intake, and a handheld programmer.
