Hello, I'm a speed addict.
Way down here in Southeast GA we like to jack our trucks up and then race them. We race on the street, track, trail, hell......anywhere. I've been reading ls1tech for a couple of years and just never registered. I've never done much to my truck other than stick a HPP on and a lift kit. I was busy going to school to learn to count out drugs.
I'm looking at getting one of the new body style pickups, but not sure if I want a diesel or a vortech max. I do know I want another 4x4 Z71 with some lift and a crewcab. If I got the Vmax I think I would definitely put a Radix on when available and if I got the diesel I would get a tune for the truck.
I just need some good direction on which to spend the money on. I don't want to get smoked by some dude in a diesel with just a tune if I've just spent tons supercharging a 6.0L gas motor. Guys help me get my mind right.

i hope that means going to college to become a pharmacist....
anyways, if you get a vortec max and add a magnacharger radix, you will def. beat diesels with just a programmer, however if they have stacked chips or a custom tune, you may get beat depending on the extent of tuning and how much power they are putting out.
a radix'd VMAX should put down 500/500 rwhp/tq with the right supporting mods with stockish sized tires
btw, welcome to the site
