Default Hello from the Boston MA area.

Hi All,

Just wanted to say hi and say this forum has been a ton of help in building my truck.

Still waiting on deliveries to get this started but here's the build:

2006 Silverado LT RCSB 2wd, 5.3 LM7, 3.73's, 20" GM Replicas.
4/6 DJM\Beltech drop
House of Boost Dedicated Drive Procharger Kit
- Procharger D1SC supercharger @ 8PSI
- 23.5"x11"x3" Front mount intercooler
DeatschWerks 60LB Injectors
Aeromotive 340LPH Stealth in-tank pump
Speed Engineering 1 7/8" long tube stainless steel headers
Speed Engineering true dual exhaust

I still need to figure out a cam and stall\trans. I know I should go straight to a 4L80 but I might roll the dice for a few months.

Might try this BTR cam: BTR centrifugal supercharged truck cam 223/240 .610"/.588" 113+5

This is not my daily, its just a toy to mess around in when not commuting or trashing my 80 Malibu with a 600hp 427 SBC.

Welcome! I like seeing more Boston members show up! Where are you from?

very cool build!!

I can help you with the things that are still up in the air. That cam is definitely on the large side for a 5.3 with such low boost. You could grow into it, but I think we can tweak it and make it better!
