Hello!

Hi, I'm Jim from CT. I came here by way of FullSizeChevy.com.
I have three trucks.
1) 2009 GMC Sierra 1500 ECSB SLE2 Z71 All Terrain. This is my primary truck. It's bone stock for now, with only a tonneau cover and Line X bedliner. It's filthy in the pic below, but, it's the best I've got.
As for planned mods, I have no idea. I'm not a huge fan of blacked out trucks and I do like my chrome so I don't plan on doing much debadging or demolding. As for performance mods, I don't know a whole lot. Hopefully, I will learn from poking around here.

2) 1995 Chevy S10 RCSB 2WD. This one is my toy. Last summer, my buddy helped me swap in a LT-1 out of a '93 Camaro. It's not built up anything special. Just a LT-4 hot cam kit and some shorty headers. It also has a 700R4 with a Corvette Servo in it.
Future mods will be light to start. In the spring, I plan to put a Ford 8.8 in the back so I can take it to the drag strip without worrying that the stock rear will let go. I also hope to lay down some paint on it as well. Right now, it's just got white primer all over it.

3) 1987 Chevy V10 RCLB. This truck belonged to my dad. He died suddenly back in 2007 and before his funeral, I decided I needed to rebuild his truck. I don't have any pictures of it, which is surprising since he bought it new back in '87. My original plan was to have the truck done by the one year mark of his death, but, that never happened.
I'm slowly doing a frame off on this truck. The body is currently off the frame and everything is sitting in the garage waiting for a decent day above 30° for me to go back out there and finish stripping the frame down for sand blasting.
Plans keep changing. Originally, I wanted to drop it. Being SFA, that can't happen (this little fact was unknown to me when I started). I'm constantly waffling back and forth, trying to decide if I want to lift it or not. This week I am thinking of a 6" lift and some 35's.
The stock 305 WILL be replaced with a larger motor. At the moment, I'm thinking it'll have a Gen I 350. I may go with a newer motor when the time comes to work on the power train. Lately, I've been wanting to look for a complete 6.0, but, I don't have the room in my garage.
Uh, that's all for now. See you around!
