Hello everyone! My name is Matt and I just recently trade a Jeep GC I had built for a 2002 Chevy Silverado 4x4 with 88k on it... The body is a bit ruff but This is going to be a project/toy for me once I get a new vehicle (hopefully by the end of the summer).

As of now the truck has the 4.8 v8 in it with a 5-speed. I am in the process of buying a z06 cam and springs from my work (chevy dealer) and installing them into a 5.3 a buddy of mine has. Im going to use all the accesories off of the 4.8 for the 5.3 and swap it in...

If Im feeling ambitous I may make a build thread... And Im sure I will have many questions with the swap...

 

Also is there anything you guys would recommend I do while I install the cam and springs?
