all kidding aside thats actually a good one! just let someone with no car knowledge drive the vehicle. if they can drive it around and in traffic and such without trouble or having to flip switches and such it could be a street car!

Pretty much my thinking...

Also make power delivery be more controllable too, ie, a 5000stall and powerglide probably wouldnt be the best thing to go get groceries with. Could you do it? Sure, technically.
