..... well, not yet. But it will be over the next few years. I have a 2014 Silverado regular cab 5.3. I want to do a drag truck build much like the one I should have continued on the 69 C10 I had long ago. Instead of pure displacement, though, I'd like to look into forced induction. I'm hoping to get down in the 12's or maybe 11's. Looking for the right forum to gather info for a proper build, I stumbled on Sinister Raceraft here that ran an 11.8 with theirs.

 

Any of the supporting vendors Turbo kits. Hit it with 12Psi, Sticky tires and you reached your goal.

With boost on one of these new motors 11's won't be a challenge at all. I'm biased toward PD blowers and I'd definitely do the same on a newer truck that's street driven.
