Default Did anyone else blew two Freeze Plugs out in both cylinder heads?

Spoiler

I have a 2004 Pontiac Grand Am SE1 and I blew the Feeeze Plug out and blew the head gaskets on it. So I replaced the gaskets and the Freeze Plug. I went to go to my trade school the next morning and the other head blew out a Freeze Plug. Do I have a cracked head or do I have two cracked heads? I really like this car and I want to fix it up. I don’t really want to get rid of it.

Man, that sucks. Are those plugs the press fit type? I've heard folks actually say they are "core plugs" that are required for the casting process, but that's on the engine block. Can't you just pressurize the coolant system and look for leaks?

Where do you live that stuff is freezing? It's hotter than Hell here, and a in a lot of parts of the States. Or this happened over Winter or something?
