thanks to all of ya'lls help,but sorry to say for now i'm going to stay with the 5.7.it's almost a new motor,plus i thought it might be a little over my head to go with the 6.0.i'm going to beaf up my 5.7,vortec heads,roller rockers,headers,pullys,intake,new tb,342's w/detroit locker.all that i'm trying to get is 14:00's out of it for now.do ya'll think it is possible w/ those upgrades?i also want to hury and get started on my paint and boby upgrades.i know what ya'll might say"if you get 14:00's your going to want 13's etc..."but i dont, this is just a street truck.i'm going to build another car later,also what about reprograming the chip,any sugestions. : thanks for the help.

vortec 350 is a bad *** motor dude, i didnt even know you were considering a swap, you should get what your lookin for outta that

you are going to need to send your ecm to craig moates to get the adapter put in. just send him an email and tell him what you are doing and he will get you fixed up. i have the cable, chip burner, and software. you need the hardware installed in your ecm and a couple of chips. btw custom tunes are expensive here is the link to his website. http://www.moates.net/
