Welcome from Alvin Texas. Nice set up! I've been waiting for someone to drop a 5.3l in a Colorado. IMO that engine is the most manipulative. I believe it can be done.

CC05 mine ran strong for 169k mi. Now going for 6.0 swap.

I actually blew my first 2.8 after 60K, bought a new 2.8 and have sprayed the **** out of it for 20K and it's still going strong. It's amazing what a difference a good tune can do, but hopefully it won't be much longer until my truck is sporting this LS that I'm building.

messing around the other day. 16psi 45 mph hit, let off on the 2-3 shift. it needs the tire mod bad
