Hello, my name is Rob and I am a speed-a-holic.
My truck is a 1997 V6 F150 that started out red,5 speed, and stock.I built a forged motor for it,painted it Lamborghini orange pearl,built my own turbo system for it, ect.Basically everything besides tunning has been done myself.This year I swapped out the 5 speed for a built 4r70w.
Performance Mods:
Forged ROSS poistons 8.5:1 compression
Forged Eagle I beams 351w
balanced assembly
MXE heads with LS6 valve springs
209/212 cam
Ported intakes
Master Power t62-1 turbo
Pro Charged 3 core IC
Tial wastegate
Greddy BOV
Hallman MBC
PI multi disc 3000 stall converter
Alto clutches
Kolene steels
hardened intermediate shaft
On 10lbs of boost it made 393rwhp/441rwtq and ran a 12.88 @104 last weekend.I still need to adjust the lock up points and shift points in the tune.It bounced off the rev limiter on the 2-3 shift.

....and no its not a Lightning.I am a body technician and I wasnt going to put any aftermarket BS on my truck that didnt fit right.So the only option at the time I put it on, like 4 years ago, was the Lightning kit from Fords.

Thanks guys.Yeah it still sounds like a V6 when I get on it, few guys have told me it sounds like a Ferrari from the outside , but I doubt that.I obviously cannot hear it out side while Im driving.
Now that its quick, I kinda wish I would of left the outside stock lookin.I smoked a 01 Lightning just messing around on the streets, we got to the next light and he asked what I had done.I told him it was a turbo V6 and he got all pissed of and drove away.
