I just bought a 2000 Suburban LT...It has 89000 miles, all options. It is that pewter color there seem to be so many of. I have just started looking around...need to get a cold air kit and a new exhaust for this thing...it is too quiet. This is going to be my tow truck for the SS. I will get some pictures and post 'em up. I also want to get a DVD player for the kids and an after market stereo w/ iPod connection.

I am not going to do any internals on this one...that is my other car. I would like to do a motor swap on it if the one gets tired. I was looking in the for sale section and there were a couple of nice LS2s for sale with 12k and 18k miles for $3-3.5k. Not a bad deal in my mind.

Thanks, I did an LQ9 swap into my SS...I have a 408ci in my SS. The only reason I was looking at the LS2 longblock was because it was cheaper than getting another shortblock like the one I put in the SS.

I would have to put some serious power into the 'burb to beat my SS. Would take a forged motor, supercharger and some serious weight reduction...5k to 3.7k lbs...
