Another So Cal SS...
Howdy folks! I participate somewhat on another board (SS-related), and heard about this link there... There are some awesome trucks on this site!
I am 36, and my new-to-me 2004 SS is my first truck. I wasn't really looking for a "performance truck" when I bought it but one drive is all it took! I bought it mainly for transporting my motorcycles ('05 GSXR 1000, '04 Aprilia Factory) to track days or ride meeting points, but now it is practically my daily driver!
The truck had a few mods when I bought her:
Long Tube Headers
Full 3" exhaust with by-pass outlets
twin-snorkel hood
K&N FIPK intake
I'm looking at a slight drop next, and maybe some wheels... Then if it holds together for a while, an SC may be in the cards...
I've attached a bad pic of it, but will have better pics soon...

What I would like to know is how my old truck ended up all the way back in California! I bought that truck (yours now, I was the first owner) at Courtesty Chevrolet in San Diego when I was stationed at Camp Pendleton with the Marine Corps. I drove that truck all the way back to central Illinois where I am still living and traded the truck in to get a 05 GTO. Wish I would have NEVER sold that truck so if you are ever interested in parting ways with it let me know! 
PS if you have any questions about the modifications feel free to ask. It has a Superior shift kit and billet servos, a huge tranny cooler and a PCM4less tune on the truck too, by the way.
