budhayes3.....ever run your truck in the 1/4? Id be interested to see what a 4x4 reg cab with those mods would run. If your running low 14's or dippin into the 13's, I just may look into a cam/headers/tune

 

I haven't run it recently, but last time I did, I had the cam and tune (02 PCM and injectors), shortie headers and gibson catback, K&N FIPK, and 33" tall BFG AT's. It was good for 15.6@89.5mph. Before that it ran 16.5@81.7 mph with just bolt ons and the same 33" tall tires...so the cam and tuned PCM was good for almost 1 second and almost 8 mph. (my 60' times didn't change at all though...I'm sure the big tires had something to do with that)

Since then I've done the Long tubes and catted y-pipe, 05 e-fans and 34" rad, 160* stat, and Volant CAI, and I just recently lowered it and installed the JGP 20's w/ 285/50's which are a 31" tall tire. Not sure what it'll run now, but I'm thinkin I gotta be close to low 15's, if not touching the 14's. I'm sure the shorter tires will make a big difference. I'd like to try and get it to the track, but it's been a crazy buzy summer (having a baby in September), and I've been doing whatever mods I can afford in between.

Oh yea, FWIW, my Pace Edward's tonneau cover is heavy as hell, which I'm sure doesn't help my et at all.
