They sell swap mounts, various companies to go with.

Use the the stock 5.3 wiring harness you hopefully got with the motor, you must have the matching pedal assembly and tac module to make your life easy. Otherwise you need to buy those to make the Drive by Wire throttle body work.

Stand 3/8in fuel line will work, if the stock lines are still in good condition just adapt them to work. A stock fuel pump will run a stock 5.3 just fine, just needs to flow like 180-200lph and be able to keep fuel pressure at 58psi.

Read around some, tons and tons of swap information out there on this stuff.

Thanks, I wondered if I could use the mounts from the donor 03 Tahoe. Also I don’t know how much of the 93 wiring or the 03 wiring to use. I’d like to use the existing 93 gauge cluster. I hope to use the radiator, shroud, driveshaft and exhaust from the 03. I guess the TBI fuel pump will need to be changed. The 93 was a 5 speed so I’ll need a shifter. Wow this is daunting, so much I don’t know but I’m sure this forum is the best place to start.
Thanks, I’m taking notes!

Thanks FFDP,
A nearby shop will do the swap for $3500, + stand alone wiring, mounts, drive shaft, shifter, exhaust and digital cluster. Well over $5k. I’ll try to avoid this cost.

I’ll be pulling the 5.3 and 4L60E in a week or so. Pls tell me what wiring to pull and what to leave.
Thanks, I appreciate your advice. I may get a stand alone later on but don’t want to loose important items or circuits. I will pull the tack module, but how about fuse and relay panel?
Many thanks,

Basically all that stuff. The engine harness with the transmission plugs, the fuse block and computer. Then the pedal assembly and tac module.

You don't need the BCM or anything like that.
