heard about the site from friend and wanted to join. I see I'm not the only guy trying to beef up my 2000 GMC 4x4 5.3. I WANT POWER. Please help me somebody!!! Engine was tapping and I replaced lifters with comp lifters and comp cam and valve springs. put on edelbrock shorty headers and flowmaster duals. truck runs pretty strong with 200,000 miles but I want a barn burner without throwing warning lights on the dash. heard a 6.0 is a straight swap is it true?

 

Yep a 6.0 block will swap right in. Look around and do some research, use the search button up top. Do you have a tune?? I would hope so if your running a cam. Good luck and feel free to ask questions.
