It half way crossed my mind. If I didn't already have ported heads/cam for the 5.4 when I built this fresh motor I probably would have. Got 3 6.0 cores in my garage. It would have been a little bit of a shame to do the truck like that. I am the original owner. Bought it when I was still a pup.
I will probably have a turbo chevy one of these days. Maybe when I retire my 2500hd 6.0 from work duty. Be a pretty cool sleeper and still under 5000 lbs.

I guess in the big picture it doesn't really matter what it is powered by, any 800 rwhp truck can hold its own.

 

Nice truck, ditching the SC for a turbo was a good move for your L. Looks good, bet it moves out!

 

As the wife says, "It's SCARY Fast". haha She will close here eyes when I get on it.
