Vid of Sierra Denali on Nitrous
#1
Here's how the old truck was running the other night. This was a run against a turbocharged Subaru Baja. I had a bunch of other runs too, It ran 8.0 four times, 8.1 once and a couple of 8.2s and a 8.3 (on a dead bottle) in the final round of eliminations against a Nitroused Corvette (got my *** handed to me).
As you can see (hopefully) from the video, we don't exactly have the best surface to run on, and the big bitch spins quite a bit out of the hole, so I think she could have run a 7, which she should do easily now, once I get the cam install finished and tuned this weekend.

It is a 6L80E. It has a bit of a slip-shift into 3rd, as you can hear in the video, which I need to figure out how to tune out, if possible.

Sorry about the lousy link guys. I tried it myself a while ago and it took me to the same page. You have to click on the link at the top left hand side of the page that says "Denali vs. Baja" and that should take you to it.
It is the factory stock exhaust, but I have the cutout open when I run so it's pretty loud. I really need to figure out how to fix that shift, because it's probably stressful on the tranny and is probably losing some ET as well.
BTW: On those runs it was running a 10.4 AFR at high RPM's on my LM-2, so I know there was more left on the table, but I was too nervous to start leaning the nitrous jetting out. Hopefully the cam and a Wheatley re-tune will fix that high rpm richness.
