I love all the Beach Boys songs and was really disappointed several years ago when I found out that the motor revving in "409" was actually a 302 Ford engine

Haven't really checked it. When the motor was new I drove it on I-95 for a 100 miles to break it in some before putting it on the dyno. Guessing by the gauge I think it did 12-13mpg. That was running with the traffic!
