Hey all I just got back from vacation in Domincan Republic we stayed at the Riu Palace in Punta Cana I just thought I would share some pics with you all I highly recomend going to this place.

That place is nice!! Definetly doesn't look like the place I remember when I was last in the D.R.
How was the food?

The food wasnt the greatest on a scale 1-10 probably a 7 or 8 they just dont cook the way americans do there bacon is the worst I did have two very good diners though steak and fish were awsome and the breakfast omlets were pretty good also. other than that the Dominicans work very hard keeping the grounds up and everything clean & runnin smooth it was deffinatly one of my favorite vacations we even lost a day to hurricane Dean .

 

That says alot especially you go on vacation ever freakin 3 or 4 weeks!

I was in the DR way back in the 80's. I was in San Diego de Samana. 8 pesos to the dollar!!! A pack of smokes was a peso, dinner was a peso, beer was a peso!
I had a blast, that was back when I ate a lot, smoked a lot and drankk a lot

 

yep got a 8 pack of Santa Damiana I dont rember what they cost but it was alot
