Yup....I havent raced a c6 z06 yet, just some heads/cam and full bolt on C5 z06's. I races a LS3 C6 with headers, catback, intake and tune from 50-140 and we were side by side like I was with that Shelby....but I had 2 less psi and no alcohol injection, no 8 rib, no 4" intake with 100mm MAF.... some locals know who's Shelby that is and claim a "driver mod" will smoke me. I had a hefty camera man, 2 slicks, a front crossmember, and oil pan, and a system in the back when I raced this snake. I pull that weight out, add a couple degrees of timing.....that snake doesn't have a chance. I hope he pullied down and added a few other mods because he's gonna need it.

Dont put money on the race. Intake, pulley, tune, cat-back and a shoe put those Shelby's in the mid 10's. Not bad for a 4300lb car. Guy who can afford a NEW Shelby and then throw the warranty out the window.....I just wouldn't trust em.

 

If I was driving that stang and an SUV did that to me that's the first thing I'd be doing the next day, ordering parts... Id be pissed...
