I don't know about the Coast Guard, but homeland security has some pretty fast boats. There are a few of these around where I live.

mine does 143 in the water. we just changed the gearing on the vdrive hopefully get into 155 range.

Nice ride man, pops had a dragger back in 79 that was running 131 in the 1/4 with a built 427, v drive...

never ran it in the 1/4 mile just sucks with the hull to go fast got to get out earlllyyy in the morning. Open baffles all the way until I get caught.
