WELL THE BROKEN TRANSMISSION,WAS THE BROKEN OIL PUMP THAT GOT CRACKED WHICH RESAULTED SPILLING ALL OF THE OIL,AND WELL IT GOT ALL FUCKED UP,ALSO MY DRIVE SHAFT BROKE INHALF.I HAVE COMPLITY ALL THE BOLTONS,QC CONVERTER,AND NITROUS,IT WAS 50 SHOT OF NITROUS WORKS,BUT WEN I RAN THE 12.8,IT WAS 86 OUTSIDE WITH NO BOTTLE HEATER,AND NO TRACTION,I GOT A 1.856 60 FOOT,BUT WITH 104.98 MPH,on motor i hit constent 1.80,1.79 60 foots,AND SICE THERE IS A WAY TO BUT THE CAM ON THESE,ON FRIDAY IM GOING TO RUN MY TRUCK WITH BOLTONS,stall,and cam,il post the video.......and thanks to all for the comments

so you have all bolt ons and 100 shot and only running that time? a stock 5.3 with K&N and flowmaster muffler with a 75 shot went 13.38 on street tires. back in 04

i thought these new motors were stronger?

i dont see the big deal about these new motors. ppl brag about going mid 14s thats what previous 5.3s ran
the motors have more power, but the trucks weigh more. The old RCSB 5.3's actually had a better power to weight ratio.

how much more? my 02 weighed in around 4500lbs back in the day....unless the NNBS is close to 5k then its not impressive to brag about

they're about 330 lbs heavier than a similarly equipped 07 classic

well also the sea level are diffrent than ours....but he was hitting a 13.8 that same night so the weather wasn't that good....
