What does a 350Z trap? In good weather that truck is looking at 98-100mph trap speeds I would guess. Am I off?

Also, the Chevy's shifts sound like ****. Is this guy a member here? I'd like to know what torque converter he is using. It sounds like RPMs drop to 3500-rpm on the 1-2 gear change.

 

That truck should be worth 100+ I trapped HIGH 90s wiht a 100shot in my heavy truck without a cam

 

How do you know thats the same truck? He had some nasty belt slip on the shift. If its the same truck it atleast had to beoff the nitrous. I killed a CAI 350Z back when all I had was a 3K stall, CAI, exhaust, and tune in a 5400# truck, it did hang with me a bit up top though.

 

its the same truck, he did not have a stall when he raced the 350, and he beat the 350 when it was stock.
Those were some good runs and the SRT does not like rolls, it has ran a best of a 12.4 @ 114mph in the 1/4, thats moving out for that big *** truck

 

I would say about 85% will be around 100-102, have seen slips of 104 and slips of 95, so its all on the driver with them

 

Oh yeah he was definitely off the bottle...I was assuming it was the same truck because the mod list and truck year was nearly all the same in the videos.

 

he did not have the bottle on the truck when he ran the 350.

That Silvy didn't run all that great off the bottle... a 350Z isn't that bad of a car. His shifts were weak too. Unless that guy had more than an "intake".

 

just a intake, he only had the car for about 2 weeks in that vid. (still new to him), he has got a little better shifting.

350s are not that slow, 13.8-14.2 with a good 60ft and good driver
