Good to hear man! Your gonna love that converter, behind the 408 it will probably be a lil looser than 3600. 100 bucks says it will rape the tci on top end too!

Rhino I got the old TCI out today and it literally puked it's guts into the rest of the transmission, luckily Cleb says he can clean it up and it doesn't look like anything else was hurt except for the pump shaft which has a small groove in it from when the TCi went kaboom, but maybe he can take it out with a laithe. Dave's having the new TC built as of today, hopefully it gets in next week.

Then it's time to haul some wood.

The hauler and myself used to work together. He stays so busy with what he does for a living. We built that thing with alot of info from this site and with some different thinking at the time too, like the single plane and 4bbl tb. Its a beast for sure.

Well there Rhino, looks like i'm getting a complete overhaul on the transmission, after further inspection the TC bomb destroyed the input shaft on the pump, which in turn caused a loss of hydraulic pressure, which in turn caused everything inside to run without lubrication, which in turn destroyed most everything in the trans... sprags, cluthches, bands, planetaries, etc... but the 4th gear band at least still looked new!

Guess I need to update my sig to "now on it's FOURTH transmission!"

Should be up and going again within a week. Sorry I hijacked your thread!
